In the present investigation, At RARS, Jagtial, 68 genotypes, including three checks were evaluated for genetic diversity selection of diverse parents. Divergence studies through D2 statistic indicated presence substantial by forming large number clusters with wide range inter-cluster distance.The genotypes distributed into eight based on values. Among clusters, cluster I was largest comprising 30 followed II 22 and Cluster III V six in each remaining IV, VI, VII, VIII solitary. The data character means that, having highest mean value capsules per plant, capsule length, width, seeds capsule, seed yield plant 1000 weight. days to 50% flowering, height, maturity branches plant. JCS 2611, 2454, 3599 have a high distance might be employed directly used adaptation or may as parents future hybridization programme.
